- This is an exciting opportunity with a global technology firm to join as Social Media Manager. The technology empowers small to medium businesses and my client is considered a growing household name!
With a salary of up to £50,000 you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package including pension, holiday and a 10% bonus.
As Social Media Manager you will understand social media’s ability to drive brand recognition, interact directly with the customer and support the effectiveness of wider marketing campaigns. Working with the marketing team you will own the social media channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram and understand how to leverage engagement from each one. Your goal will be to build a global community using your creative and entrepreneurial mindset.
We are looking for someone who lives and breathes social media and has the experience of running social media for a brand (ideally B2B). Your top skills will include your ability to write no-nonsense copy, maybe you have had previous experience as a journalist or in PR? A strong ability to use various social analytics tools (Hootsuite, Brandwatch, Meltwater) will be important in understanding your target audience and sharing community activity with your team.
This role would really suit someone with 4-5 years’ plus in social media, maybe you’ve been part of a social media team and now want to lead on social planning and activity?
