Communications Manager – £35,000 – £40,000 plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package

Position based in stunning London headquarters or remotely/hybrid for the right candidate

Kindred Recruitment is working with an established award-winning player in the research and insights industry to find a Communications Manager with an interest in both internal and external communications that will compliment marketing efforts as well as communication to employees.

In addition to a varied role, our client offers a truly inclusive and collaborative culture where everyone is made to feel welcome and a valued member of the team.

Why should you apply for the position of Communications Manager?

My client has been ranked one of the fastest growing agencies in their field. Joining them as part of a small but growing marketing and communications team you will have a direct impact on their continued growth.

Working under the guidance of an experienced and nurturing Head of Marketing will no doubt allow you to flourish as an effective communications professional as you develop in your career.

In addition, they have embraced hybrid working at standard and for the right person, fully remote working may be available.

What will I be doing?

No two days will be the same as you develop and implement the communications strategy in collaboration with the HR/People team as well as the Head of Marketing and Marketing Assistant.

Across employee engagement you will join various committees to ensure actions are communicated company-wide. You’ll work closely with the People Team and Talent Executive to craft copy that continues to help with talent attraction and retention at all touchpoints.

Externally, you’ll get to lead on press and PR to raise coverage and maintain my client’s already outstanding reputation. You’ll deliver communications across the website and blogs, as well as recognised platforms and review sites.

What experience should I have?

The role of Communications Manager will suit a comms professional with at least 3 years’ experience crafting and delivering a mix of internal/employee and external communications across a variety of marketing channels. The following experience and attributes are also highly desirable:

  • PR experience e.g., press release writing
  • Developing employee engagement communications and messaging
  • Writing of business award entries
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Confidence to manage/mentor the Marketing Assistant
