Location: Central London
Salary: £30,000 – £38,000
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days from home), occasional Saturday needed

About the Role:

My client, a highly reputable bank offering funding for a range of private individuals and corporates, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Administrator to join their team in Central London. This role is pivotal in managing the deposit base of the bank throughout the customer lifecycle, encompassing personal, business, ISA, and charity accounts. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service while adhering to their company values.

What will you be doing as Customer Services Administrator?

This is a bust role with a mature customer base so you must be able to bring a brilliant customer centric approach to every customer interaction whether over the phone or email. Days are varied covering Customer Onboarding, Deposit Management, Bereavement Services, Record Maintenance, Customer Service, demonstrating product knowledge, transaction processing and other ad hoc admin tasks.

You’ll get to work in a busy and close-knit team and a range of stakeholders across the business including compliance and deposits.

Skills and Qualifications needed as Customer Services Administrator

My client is very keen to bring in someone who has telephone customer service experience, as well as administration knowledge. You could be coming from a call centre within a regulated industry such as finance, banking, insurance or similar. In addition, the following would help you to hit the ground running:

  • Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Proficiency in using banking systems and software
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service
