This is without doubt one of the most exciting marketing opportiunities I’ve seen in a while. Working for a scale-up looking to take their incredible success from mainland Europe to the UK, they are seeking a smart, ambitious marketer with a strong generalist skill set to own UK marketing activity with the help of the wider team based in Europe.

This organisation is incredibly passionate about sustainability, environmentally friendly operations and renewable energy; with a successful business model in Europe they have set about meeting ambitious targets here in the UK and need your help.

Long-term, this role has the potential to grow with you, offering the opportunity to build and lead your own team in the future.

As Marketing Coordinator your role will look to increase the company’s visibility across the UK. You will work closely with internal teams, manage external partners and drive the development and implementation of the communication strategy.

My client works to a set of values which they take very seriously, they put the consumer at the heart of everything they do and this is testament to their on-going success.

What marketing experience do you need to bring with you?

First and foremost, you will be ambitious and not afraid to fail, failing creates the opportunity to learn from your mistakes and this organisation promotes learning wherever possible.

You’ll be a strong team player but confident enough to contribute your own ideas and manage your own marketing projects.

In terms of skills and experience, having the majority of the following with a willingness to learn about any gaps would allow you to hit the ground running:

  • 3 years’ marketing experience including digital
  • Experience of social media and PR, thinking about different target audiences
  • Creation of targeted content that increases awareness and education of the industry
  • Running of digital campaigns both paid and organic to increase brand awareness
  • Understanding of SEO, SEA, PPC and display
  • OOH advertising
  • Third party apps used by consumers
  • Website management and development
  • Understanding of analytical tools and how to interpret data for decision making including A/B testing
  • Events and promotional campaigns

Whilst the above marketing skill set is important, my client is looking for someone creative and curious to translate their passion for sustainability into tangible results to create a positive impact.

If you would like to be part of building something incredible, please apply for immediate consideration as my client is keen to appoint someone.

Please note we are not able to take applications or enquiries over the phone and unfortunately none of our opportunities offer sponsorship. To have your application reviewed quickly, please apply using the link and submit your CV.
