Kindred Recruitment is once again delighted to be working with this particular client, now seeking a Marketing Executive as they expand their small marketing team. The established business sits within the insurance/ financial services sector (B2C and B2B) and they are ready to hire a marketer with 1-2 years’ marketing experience.

The highlight of this role is the scope of duties, this is an all-encompassing position, working across all marketing touchpoints and will suit a rising star who enjoys a busy and varied marketing position.

The Role

Working closely with the Head of Marketing and other business units, the position will allow you to develop campaigns and marketing projects, for example:

• Marketing collateral
• Social media campaigns (LinkedIn)
• Competitor analysis (reading blogs, news websites etc)
• On and offline advertising
• Building relationships with design and branding agencies
• Manage events end to end (venue/food/guest list/invitations)
• Design of PowerPoint presentations
• Budget management
• Internal communications

As you can see, no two days will be the same! Week to week you’ll be planning campaigns, writing content, updating the website, working on a LinkedIn campaign for lead generation, briefing a creative agency on a new creative project, allocating budget for a paid social campaign or co-ordinating attendance at a key industry event.

You’ll possess a ‘can-do’ attitude and take genuine pride in helping your colleagues across the business develop marketing campaigns that support their goals.

You’ll impress on paper and in person. Willingness to learn, possessing a growth mindset and a collaborative work ethic are all sought after characteristics for this role. We are therefore looking for the following skills and experience:

• Strong academic record, degree educated (2:1 or above) additional marketing/digital qualifications a bonus
• 1-2 years’ marketing experience in a fast-paced and varied role
• Experience of working with LinkedIn on campaigns
• Exposure to using HubSpot or similar CRM (Salesforce, Eloqua, Market etc)
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Inquisitive nature and problem solver
• Attention to detail
• Interest in learning
