Senior Consumer Marketing Manager

 

£60,000 – £65,000 + discretionary bonus

 

Onsite in beautiful London office

 

My client, a luxury drinks brand is on an exciting trajectory, and to support their growth they are looking for an experienced consumer marketer to join them as Senior Consumer Marketing Manager in London. You will help to accelerate the brands’ position in the premium market in all regions outside of the USA including the UK, UAE and Singapore.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing campaigns within the premium beverage industry, FMCG or similar. This is a brand new, standalone role with the help of a graphic designer so requires someone who loves being both strategic and hands-on in equal measure as you will be running the majority of campaigns.

 

You’ll have an entrepreneurial attitude, love consumer marketing and create campaigns that drive awareness with potential consumers across all marketing touchpoints.

 

Superb organisational, creative, and interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to self-lead, display an innovative, entrepreneurial and collaborative mind-set is a real plus. In return our client can offer a vibrant and fulfilling place to work.

 

Overview

 

As Senior Consumer Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness, drive consumer engagement, and increase market share. You will work collaboratively with the Senior Trade Marketing Manager to ensure alignment with business objectives and deliver impactful marketing campaigns that resonate with the target audience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • and implement strategic marketing campaign plans to effectively promote the beverage brand
  • market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, consumer preferences, and opportunities for brand differentiation
  • and articulate the brand positioning, messaging, and value proposition to establish a strong brand identity that resonates with target consumers
  • with the graphic designer to develop compelling brand assets, including packaging designs, advertising materials, and digital/social media content
  • brand activations, events, and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and engagement with consumers
  • digital marketing initiatives, including social media, influencer partnerships, and email marketing campaigns, to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition
  • marketing performance metrics and consumer insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimise marketing strategies
  • strategic partnerships and collaborations to expand brand reach and enhance brand perception
  • informed about industry trends, consumer behaviour, and regulatory developments to inform marketing strategies and ensure compliance with industry standards

 

Skills and experience needed for Senior Consumer Marketing Manager role

 

The Senior Consumer Marketing Manager role requires a blend of skills, solid campaign marketing experience and exceptional communication skills to manage effective relationships both internally and externally. In addition, to hit the ground running in this role you should have the majority of the following:

 

  • Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
  • experience in marketing, campaign delivery, or similar within FMCG/drinks
  • experience within a FMCG start-up would be a real bonus
  • track record of successfully developing and executing marketing strategies that contribute to sales, increase brand visibility and ultimately drive market share
  • understanding of consumer marketing strategies and campaigns
  • marketer across social media, digital/web, events/experiential and activations, PR, advertising, partnerships and more
  • analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions
  • communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • thinker with a creative mindset, passion for innovation and brand storytelling
  • to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with marketing analytics tools and CRM systems is a plus
